After recently announcing that the Nintendo Switch port of Street Fighter II was a massive success, Capcom has said they look forward to releasing more games for Nintendo’s new console. One of these just announced is the Resident Evil Revelations Collection. This double pack will include both Resident Evil Revelations (which debuted on the 3DS and was eventually ported to the Wii U) and Resident Evil Revelations 2 which was released as episodic downloads and eventually as a full retail game, but it never made its way to the Wii U.
Fans of basketball will have lots to rejoice about today, NBA Playgrounds the new 2v2 arcade sports title from Saber Interactive will release on the Nintendo Switch eShop today. If you were a fan of the NBA Jam or NBA Street series this is surely a title that you won’t want to miss. Due to some technical issues the online portion of the game won’t be available to Switch owners immediately, but will be added at a later date. Check out the trailer below.
It’s already been out in Japan since the Switch launched, but today gamers in the West can get their hands on the full release. A crossover between Sega’s Puyo Puyo series and Tetris, a demo was released on the Nintendo Switch eShop a few weeks ago and it has been one of my most played Switch games in recent weeks. The Nintendo Switch’s eShop is growing at a fast rate with quality games. Titles like Master Blaster Zero and Shovel Knight Treasure Trove have given gamers with a love for the 8-bit days plenty to chose from. Starting today there is another title worth checking out for some nostalgia. Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is a remake of the Sega Master system game Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap developed by Lizardcube and published by DotEmu.
