Are you looking for something new to play on your Nintendo Switch, 3DS, or Wii U? Here’s a break down of what is available now!
Has-Been Heroes: A rogue-like that borrows heavily from Darkest Dungeon, Has-Been Heroes is a victim of poor timing. Being released at the beginning of the Switch’s life and having to compete with critically acclaimed rouge-like The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth + isn’t going to help it stand out. Especially when so many players are still spending most of their time with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s difficult but enjoyable, and the $19.99 price tag makes it a worthwhile addition to the Switch’s library. Our review should be live within the next week.
Snake-Pass: Another indie that has been getting a lot of hype, since it’s announcement in the indie Nintendo Direct. The game shows off vibrant colors and is essentially a cross between a puzzle game, and the collect-a-thon platformers of the late 90’s. Also available at $19.99, if you’re looking for an e-shop title that won’t break the bank and won’t be too difficult this would be a good choice.
Metal Slug: Another Neogeo ACA title, you know what you’re getting here. Metal Slug fans will want to check this out.
Pikmin 2: Go back in time with this entry on the Wii U Virtual Console. This is the “New Play Control” edition that was released for the Wii. A remake of the Gamecube title with added motion controls.
